Veronica is a long-time supporter of Rudy’s work. She and Autism Services gave her one of her very first opportunities to present, on the topic of Asperger’s on the Job. Following Ms. Simone’s adventures and ethos, she believes that a valuable service is being provided and understands the importance of getting out into the world to spread modern and enlightened approaches to autism spectrum conditions and treatment. No stranger to this sort of work herself, Ms. Federiconi has run a charity for Romanian children for many years in addition to her work in western New York. She has very generously become the most recent sponsor of the International Aspergirl Society.

“Dear Ms. Simone and the IAS: As a community we need to address the issues with females on the spectrum that the medical community ignores or are ignorant of. Y’all do have it worse than us guys. The reason I was brave enough to get diagnosed and seek you out for treatment was because of an 11-yr old Aspergirl. I was her teacher. My doctor recommends your (Rudy’s) books. I tell everyone that if they want to get better then they need sessions with you. You helped me….I just wanted to help you. Thank you for what you do for our community. We need you!”–AAAA Leader
Grace Myhill MSW Working with neurodiverse couples in which one partner has an Asperger’s/Autism Spectrum Profile is my specialty. I understand the unique strengths and the challenges that come with these relationships. We cannot change our neurologies, but I can help couples to gain a better understanding of who they each are, who their partner is, and how their neurological differences affect their relationship.
My approach is to first help couples understand the importance of neurology and what it means to be a neurodiverse couple. This includes getting to know how you and your partner each think and perceive the world. I help couples identify how their neurological similarities and differences affect the dynamics and interaction of their relationship. Together we can identify areas for skill building and problem-solving.
There are several ways you can work with me: individually, together with your partner, or in a group. We can meet by phone or video conferencing. I also offer assessments for Asperger’s/Autism Spectrum Disorder in adults in Baltimore, MD, and in Watertown, MA. For more information visit my website www.gracemyhill.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org or call me 617-504-3116. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

Cynthia Arnold, Ph.D. I am a clinical psychologist specializing in the assessment, treatment and advocacy of neurodiverse individuals. My intensive specialty and passion is working with those on the autism spectrum.
My goal is to teach you acceptance and advocacy through better understanding 1. the neurology of autism and related challenges (e.g. executive function, anxiety, sensory processing) 2. mentors/leaders in the autism community 3. acceptance of your differences 4. advocacy of your specific needs 5. how to setup your environment to better showcase your strengths.
Professionally I cross trained with multiple specialties (e.g., Pediatrics, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Education, Psychiatry & Audiology) which allows me to have a comprehensive understanding of challenges. In my practice I actively collaborate with other professionals for more holistic care. (e.g., Naturopaths, Osteopaths, Dietitians, tutors and academic providers).
I integrate testing and treatment. Most providers either specialize in testing/assessment for accurate diagnosis -or- treatment. I use testing data to make very specific treatment recommendations. I am trained to provide/interpret full assessments as well as individual therapy. Personally, by best friend is an autistic adult whom I collaborate with routinely. I admire and work with individuals on the spectrum to provide insight. For more information, please visit my comprehensive website: New Leaves Clinic. (Note: My license requires treatment at my location in Oregon.)
